Support for Ogless

Ogless is written to run on most Windows® XP and Vista® PCs, however, because Ogless uses advanced graphical capabilities to create some of its effects you may find that some of them create strange undesirable effects or do not run at all. We are unable to support all possible PC and graphics cards but please let us know of the problem (with a screenshot) on our contact page so we can investigate it.

Ogless requires a compatible version of Microsoft® Foundation Classes version 8.0. Most PCs will have this pre-installed as it is a shared component used by many widely used applications. If it is not already installed then Ogless's installer will prompt you to install it, directing you to a download page on our web site.

Some of Ogless's most amazing effects are produced using the three-dimensional capabilities of your PC. You need a 'modern' graphics card and Microsoft® DirectX® version 9 to be able to see these effects. The Ogless installer will check your environment and prompt you to install DirectX® from Microsoft's web page if it is not installed on your PC. If you do not have a graphics card that supports this you can still run Ogless but you won't get the 3-D effects.
